The project arises from interest in the interpretation of the body in different cultures. More specifically, in the studies through the anthropologists Le Breton and Leenhardt of Melanesian society, comparing it with our current western society.
The Melanesians don´t contemplate a word to define the body, they speak about "kare" as the skin that covers both the human being and a tree. They understand the body as a whole, intrinsic part of the plant world and other bodies. On the other hand, the western society of modernity treats it as something foreign to the world, separated not only from the environment and from others, but also from ourselves.
The body is the backbone of the project. Materialized the project as a large body space composed of natural tissue. When the large textile body falls and folds form, it adheres to the bodies and mutates its function.
